At RFC, we work hard, but we also like to have a good time! Our company fosters a family atmosphere where we not only enjoy working together, but also spending time together outside of the office. We have an annual All Staff Retreat where all employees enjoy three days of comradery, team building activities, and professional development. In 2017, we visited Santa Fe and went on a road rally through the New Mexico countryside.  We also sponsor events such as happy hours, team lunches, 5k races, and holiday parties. Hard work and fun times make for a great combination!

In addition to our significant involvement in the utility industry and associations like the American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation, and the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, we are also active in our community. We participate in a variety of programs to give back to the communities in which we work, ranging from Adopting-a-Stream in Charlotte’s Little Sugar Creek to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. We also actively contribute to Water for People, an international non-profit whose mission is to promote the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services for all.
