RFC Brings on Long-Time Public Utility Senior Financial Analyst to Serve as Senior Consultant« All News

KANSAS CITY, M.O. – Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc. (RFC) has hired John Wright, CPA to serve as a Senior Consultant in RFC’s Kansas City Office.
John began his career in the utility industry in 1991 and since then has served in financial analysis and management roles for several public utilities. Prior to joining RFC, he was the Manager of Rate Administration for Denver Water. Some of his other past experience includes serving in senior financial analysis roles for Portland Bureau of Environmental Services, the Public Utility Commission of Oregon, and the Colorado Public Utilities Commission.
John’s role with RFC will be to lead analyses and the production of deliverables on a variety of rate and financial projects. His vast experience working for public utilities will give him valuable insight into how to deliver an extremely useful final product to the client.
“John will bring a unique perspective that will broaden RFC’s capabilities for serving water and wastewater utilities,” said Peiffer Brandt, Chief Operating Officer of RFC. “In addition to his extensive experience with Denver Water, John has finance and pricing experience in the electric sector, which we are excited to leverage to expand our capabilities for utilities.”
