The issue of PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), often referred to as “forever chemicals,” has gained national attention due to recent regulatory actions by the EPA. These developments have placed PFAS at the forefront of capital planning for many utilities and local governments.
When you think about it, water quality is a water systems’ essential function. What if customers don’t see the report? Or they see it but don’t read it? Or they read it, but don’t understand it? Did it fulfill its mission of building consumer confidence in their tap water?
