At Raftelis, we foster a family atmosphere where we not only work together, but we also connect with each other personally. We have events outside of the office – including an annual employee retreat, team lunches, holiday parties, 5k races, and community involvement – to help encourage strong relationships within our team. We Give Back
We are active in our community. We participate in a variety of programs to give back to the communities in which we work, ranging from Adopting-a-Stream in Charlotte’s Little Sugar Creek to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. We also actively contribute to Water for People, an international non-profit whose mission is to promote the development of high-quality drinking water and sanitation services for all.
We Focus on Learning and Development
Our employees have access to some of the premier subject matter experts and thought leaders in the industry. There are many opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally. All employees are paired with a Development Leader who is responsible for providing coaching, feedback, and career path support. We also have a generous education reimbursement program to help employees continue their education after they’ve entered the workforce. In addition, our firm and staff are encouraged to actively participate in the associations that guide our industry, like the American Water Works Association (AWWA), Water Environment Federation (WEF), National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA), and American Public Works Association (APWA).
