It is the first time in our current workforce’s history that a significant chunk of federal funding will be flowing to local governments and public water utilities in the form of grants. For many organizations this is a huge opportunity, but getting the most out of it will require an understanding of the options.
The City of Boulder (City) has engaged Raftelis for a variety of services since 2010, including a structural review of the City’s downtown development districts, economic vitality functions, and parking operations. Raftelis was retained by the City of Boulder to evaluate and complete a comprehensive water, wastewater, and stormwater rate assessment and to develop rate alternatives for each utility.
Raftelis completed a user fee study to review and update the municipality’s fees for service. In total, 60 miscellaneous user fees were reviewed during the project. Charlotte Storm Water Services engaged Raftelis to facilitate a strategic plan focused on ensuring the organization stays committed to its mission and achieves its vision for the future.
