The City of Rio Rancho (City) provides water and wastewater service to a population of over 90,000. The City’s five wastewater treatment plants treat over 12 million gallons per day and discharge to the Rio Grande River. Raftelis worked closely with City of Rio Rancho staff, utility commission, governing body to develop water and wastewater rates and impact fees. We recently managed a comprehensive cost-of-service study leading to the successful adoption of five-year schedules of water and wastewater rates.
