As Raftelis has grown throughout the years from just a few consultants to more than 160 employees located in 20 states we’re always working to bring better, more effective solutions to our public sector clients. An important part of Raftelis’ business and growth strategy is acquiring great organizations with talent and skills that complement our own. As a result, Raftelis has made three significant acquisitions in the last several years. What makes these acquisitions successful is a strong focus on people and culture. We know our clients and employees benefit from the opportunity for diversity in thought, client relationships, and experience.
Public Resources Management Group (PRMG) was founded in 1994 by Rob Ori, CPA in Maitland, FL. PRMG grew to 18 employees with extensive capabilities in providing rate, financial, and management consulting to water, wastewater, reclaimed water, solid waste, and stormwater utilities services with additional expertise in the electric, natural gas, solid waste, and chilled water markets throughout the Southeast. PRMG also provided services for general government functions such as recreation, police, fire, building, planning, zoning, and other governmental activities. For 25 years, PRMG and Raftelis followed similar paths – focusing on delivering lasting solutions for our clients. When Raftelis acquired PRMG we knew that our combined capabilities and resources would provide added value to our clients.
Founded in 2009 by Julia Novak when she acquired Public Management Partners and created The Novak Consulting Group, TCNG was staffed by consultants with decades of collective experience and built on a reputation for innovation and results. This company had expanded its services across the U.S., providing a wide range of management consulting services for local governments in the areas of public works, public safety, human resources, finance, planning, IT and more. TNCG’s culture was based on highly personal service. Raftelis had partnered with TNCG many times over the years so when Raftelis acquired TNCG we knew their consultants and network of subject matter experts could provide our clients with an unparalleled level of advice combined with one-on-one attention from senior-level consultants.
