Regionalization and service sharing evaluation and support

Raftelis has supported groups of communities and utilities in finding ways to efficiently and effectively share resources, collaborate on service provision, and, in some cases, develop and implement regional entities.

Whether you are looking to convene initial community discussions, explore feasibility, or launch a new regional entity, we’re ready to help.

What we do

Raftelis employs a multidisciplinary approach to projects around regional partnerships and regionalization, harnessing our strengths in financial analysis, stakeholder engagement and facilitation, organizational assessment, data analysis, and technology assessment.

We incorporate practical and best-practice approaches to the management of water resources and infrastructure programs. Our experience includes financial analysis support and decision-support scenario analysis. We have also developed and facilitated stakeholder discussion processes for options development and path selection.

To implement regional approaches, we have developed funding mechanisms and implemented new customer billing rate structures. Additionally, we have supported customer outreach, education, and branding, and assisted communities with a variety of other tasks to support regional approaches.
