Change in leadership for Raftelis

January 01, 2017

Raftelis is announcing a change in the leadership of the firm. Effective January 1, 2017, Peiffer Brandt has been appointed to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the firm. Mr. Brandt succeeds William (Bill) Stannard, P.E., who has served as President and CEO since January 1, 2012.  Mr. Stannard will remain active in the leadership of the firm, serving as Chairman of the Board. Bill will also continue to provide consulting services for clients and remain active in a variety of industry associations.

Mr. Brandt has more than 19 years of experience providing consulting services to the water and wastewater utility industry. He joined Raftelis in 1998 and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2012, where he has worked closely with Mr. Stannard in the growth of Raftelis’ consulting practice.  Mr. Brandt’s new role will further expand his already active involvement in the executive leadership of Raftelis, while he will also continue to provide consulting services on a variety of client engagements.

Mr. Stannard joined Raftelis in 2002 as a Vice President after serving for 27 years in various managerial and executive positions for a large, international engineering firm.  Since then, he has helped to grow the firm to a staff of more than 70 employees in 17 offices across the country, and has established Raftelis as one of the premier financial, rate, and management consulting firms in the utility industry.

We believe this is a great step in the continued evolution of Raftelis, and are extremely excited about this next phase in our firm’s development.
