The Collaborative Committee was established to support these initiatives. This group of dedicated leaders helps foster an inclusive and engaging workplace by facilitating communication, gathering diverse perspectives, and contributing to informed decision-making. They play a key role in strengthening our corporate efforts to create a supportive and dynamic work environment for all.
Our DEI Initiatives
Raftelis’ strategic initiatives are organized into three categories:
- Strategies to hire the most qualified candidates by leveraging an expansive and inclusive candidate pool and provide inclusive benefits to employees
- Strategies to develop employees and promote continued growth and advancement in the organization
- Strategies to retain qualified staff and foster an inclusive culture
Some of our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts include:
- Tapping into Potential, a program that connects experienced employees with junior colleagues across the firm, aiming to enhance understanding of diverse perspectives and work experiences while fostering new opportunities for all
- Providing competitive benefits to employees that aim to fulfill the needs of a diverse workforce, including discretionary PTO, health care coverage for domestic partners, remote work flexibility, and parental leave for birthing and non-birthing parents
- Focusing the Raftelis Charitable Giving Fund on the inclusion of non-profits that support a diverse range of organizations, and the Raftelis Leadership Scholarships on awarding to those with diverse backgrounds
- Promoting inclusion and belonging within our onboarding and orientation practices
- Fostering inclusion, camaraderie, and collaboration through our annual all-staff retreat
