Erick has spearheaded the design and implementation of a model that simulates the financial dynamics of a municipality from the General Fund down to the smallest of special revenue and enterprise funds. The model has been used in various cities & counties in Florida to aid the municipalities in solving financial hurdles; working closely with municipal management and governing bodies to make critical decisions in the sensitive political climate that governments find themselves in. Erick has specialized and developed novel techniques utilizing live modeling to mediate crucial financial decisions at the executive and elected board levels. Erick has also earned the reputation as one of the prominent specialists in Fire/Rescue Special Assessment Fee design, implementation and management in the State of Florida.
