This four-day program (December 12-15) developed by the Raftelis Performance Academy is created for current and emerging leaders working in utility and local government organizations, who have the interest and authority to lead process improvement and innovation projects. The course is designed to equip utility and local government staff with specifically tailored tools and techniques to improve operations and solve organizational issues, without the jargon.
The Process Improvement and Innovation program is centered around the Process Improvement Cycle, which focuses on three phases: planning, innovating, and sustaining. Through a mix of direct instruction and hands-on activities, participants will learn and apply process improvement skills using such tools as root cause analysis, gap analysis, process mapping, and addressing equity in process improvement. Innovation concepts and tools will include creative problem-solving techniques such as behavioral insights, and “yes, and” thinking.
