Jersey Water Works is a collaborative of diverse stakeholders including utilities, regulators, and advocacy organizations with the goal of improving New Jersey’s water infrastructure by supporting sustainable, cost-effective solutions that provide communities with clean water and waterways; healthier, safer neighborhoods; local jobs; flood and climate resilience; and economic growth. To communicate the value of water and water infrastructure, and support additional infrastructure investment, Jersey Water Works provides facts, data, and metrics to demonstrate the need to invest in sustainable, cost-effective solutions that provide communities with clean water and waterways. The WaterCheck website created by Raftelis is an innovative and informative means to convey this important information to the public and a range of stakeholders.

WaterCheck is an interactive web-based dashboard the public can access for consolidated information about water quality, regulations, and water infrastructure in New Jersey. It aggregates data from environmental regulatory agencies, utilities, and local governments into a consumable format for a wide range of stakeholders. This first-of-its-kind in the nation state-wide site is a true collaboration between regulators, utilities, advocacy organizations and the public. No other venue provides such a rich collection of state-wide data on water and water infrastructure.
