Washington County (County) contracted with Raftelis to perform a staffing and organization structure review of the County Administrative Office. The newly appointed County Administrator, noting the significant change occurring with regard to the Board of Commissioners’ priorities, sought to design the Office with an eye to the future. The project included staff and Commissioner interviews, stakeholder interviews with department heads, and process flowcharting. A report recommending several organizational structure and process changes was presented in the spring of 2021.
